Mural Corridor Signage

By Nancey Seghetti, 2013
The purpose of this mosaic is to make people aware of the Cherry Street Mural Corridor. A three-block outdoor art gallery between South 4th and South 7th.
Corner of South 6th Avenue and Cherry Street
This highly visible, colorful, cut-glass mosaic helps to humanize and invigorate the built environment. It uses unusual textures and materials to act as way-finding signage to point visitors in both directions of our outdoor art gallery. Adding beauty is one of our strategies to compete in the marketplace by making our community unique and distinctive. It demonstrates how public art adds vitality and liveliness to our community.
