Today is a Bright Night

By Andrew Pochan
This surreal mural depicts elements from Penn Avenue and electricity into its design.
Location
Behind 517 Franklin Street on Cherry behind Waldman Electric
This mural is built around the theme of electricity from the thundering power of nature’s lightening bolts to its harnessing for powering cafes and shops in West Reading. Its style is loosely based on Spanish artist Pablo Picasso’s mural-sized oil painting Guernica.
